Wednesday, March 18: 7 PM-8:30 PM
Dewey Hall is thrilled to kick off our upcoming Spring Sourdough Weekend—including the Fifth Annual Sourdough Bread Contest on April 10 and Soup & Sourdough Saturday on April 11—by hosting a virtual workshop with Cheryl Hobert, founder of Nomad Bakery, specializing in all things challah and other artisanal goods.
Learn how to make beautiful, delicious challah using only 100% wild yeast (aka starter), good baking technique, and the unhurried process of natural fermentation. This class will include a demonstration of Cheryl's step-by-step method and a Q&A afterward.
Open to experienced and beginning bakers.
Advance registration requested via Zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/MXWVujr8T0mXC6gqAxHBHg or by scanning the QR code (left).
There is no cost to attend, though donations are gladly accepted.
