Fill Out the Survey, Fill Up on Pancakes!
Join your neighbors on Sunday, October 25, from 8:30 to 11:30 am, at Dewey Hall, for a free community pancake breakfast with a purpose. The Town of Sheffield is updating both its Comprehensive Plan and its Open Space and Recreation Plan, and residents are invited to share their thoughts over a warm stack of pancakes.
These land-use planning documents were last updated more than 20 years ago and help set the town's priorities for projects, initiatives, services, and community resources. The Comprehensive Plan guides the policy decisions and investments Sheffield will make over the next 10 to 20 years so that they reflect what residents want, need, and hope for. The Open Space and Recreation Plan sets priorities for open space projects over the coming decade and keeps the town eligible for many state grant programs.
Input gathered at the breakfast will directly shape the goals, objectives, and actions in the updated plans. Come enjoy a free meal, meet your neighbors, and help decide the future of Sheffield. All are welcome!
