Born in New York's Capital Region, the Useless Cans have been bringing a mix of original and standard old-time jazz, folk and traditional Russian tunes to their audiences since 2016. The trio consists of guitar, upright bass and washboard with all three members lending their voices here and there. The band consists of Guitarist, Bobby Davis and Upright Bassist, Dylan Perrillo and vocalist Julia Posin (washboard).

The Useless Cans have just finished their third E.P. entitled 'Breezy Point' which features mostly tunes written by Davis that are inspired by today's political and social climate.

This event is part of our Third Friday Swing series at Dewey Hall. Every month a beginner swing dance lesson is followed by a live band and dancing. Follow Oldtone Native on Facebook to keep up to date on all Oldtone concerts, dances, and festivals.
